for the Afghan campaign.
"Today I'm here at the protest because I feel that
in whatever way I can, I need to assist in engaging Canadians in a broader
debate: the issues of why we're in Afghanistan and what the priorities are in
Afghanistan for our Canadian Forces."
At rallies in Toronto and Hamilton,
Ont., participants carried placards that read, "War resisters are
welcome."
Protesters in Halifax carried a large banner that said, "You
can't plant war and expect to harvest peace." Demonstrations also took place in
St. John's, Quebec City and Vancouver.
The modest crowds turned out as a poll
suggested a majority of Canadians continue to support Canada's military role in
Afghanistan.
The first major deployment of Canadian soldiers in
Afghanistan was in February 2002. Canada's military contingent there
now numbers more than 2,000; 43 soldiers have been killed and more than 200
injured in the campaign.

Terror sympathizers and treasonists demanding the withdrawal of Canadian troops from Afghanistan mobbed the streets in cities across the country to participate in rallies organized by left wing labour groups, peace activists and Muslim terror sympathizer organizations.

The mobs also consisted of those who swore an oath to defend Canada, but broke that oath and chose to desert the military.

DAWN OF THE DEAD SOW-A HELLISH NIGHTMARE

I am not really good at posting graphics, so I am gonna use my descriptive writing skills and let the readers use their imaginations.The Halloween theme in relation to this issue regarding the court challenges program is gonna have a sort of Dawn of the Dead ring to it.You'll know what I mean if ya ever watched DAWN OF THE DEAD.My version, DAWN OF THE DEAD SOW-A HELLISH NIGHTMARE, unlike the movie, is a real living nightmare.

The characters are

SOW-The lil girl who becomes a zombie and causes others to be zombies at the beginning of the movie.
CCP-Other neighbours who got bit by zombies and became zombies, emselves.
Stephen Harper-Police officer with shotgun.The shotgun symbolizes the cuts the gov't is imposing.
CUPE-A Zombie that infiltrates the mall.The mall symbolizes Canadian society and the employees who are members of the union who are too blinded by fantasy to realize their union is wastin their dues to fund the radifem/radihomo agenda in an undemocratic way.

If you ever watch the movie, Dawn of the Dead, you'll understand this blog and it's personification of the fight to end this travesty by the leftist agenda.

On the movie,DAWN OF THE DEAD, the shotgun to the head of the zombies was the only way to stop em, which means Mr.Harper is taking down the leftist agenda step by step.You can help keep these zobies dead by doing what is listed below.

OTTAWA -- The federal
Conservative government says it will no longer fund women's groups that do
advocacy, lobbying or general research, leaving some to wonder what's
left.
The drastic change to the mandate and operation of Status of Women
Canada also drops the word "equality'' when listing the agency's
goals.
Previous objectives such as helping women's organizations participate
in the public policy process and increasing the public's understanding of
women's equality issues have been eliminated from government
literature.
Organizations that receive funding from the Trudeau-era agency
were stunned.
"When you look at this Conservative government's policy it's
like, `Be good girls, be quiet.' It's shocking really,'' said Monica Lysack of
the Child Care Advocacy Association of Canada.
Groups initially thought the
agency's core program had escaped the axe during a government-wide spending
review announced last week, when only the administrative side of Status of Women
Canada was cut.
But they were told this week by Status of Women Minister Bev
Oda that they would no longer be able to receive funding for projects that
involved advocacy work, lobbying of the government or general research, as part
of new terms and conditions for grants.
Oda was not available for comment
Wednesday.
The changes are consistent with program cuts the government made
to policy branches and advisory committees in several departments. Government
watchers say it's indicative of a move away from "government-funded lobbying,''
in favour of results-oriented projects.
Alia Hogben, executive director of
the Canadian Council of the Muslim Women, argues without the funding the
government provided her group, it would never have successfully struck down the
use of Muslim shariah law in Ontario family court cases.
"That makes it very
difficult, because if you don't lobby and you don't advocate, you're not going
to make systemic changes,'' said Hogben.
"A majority of us are new
immigrants, we don't know all the systems, we have to struggle with adaptation .
. . to say we're going to get money, or any large sums of money to do this work
is just not reasonable.''
Also in the new terms and conditions for grants is
a general statement of objectives for the women's program.
The last document,
published in 1993, said the program supported organizations that sought to
"advance equality for women by addressing women's economic, social, political
and legal situation.''
It also had a list of four other key objectives that
included women's involvement in the decision-making or public policy
process.
The new, shorter stated objective is to "facilitate women's
participation in Canadian society by addressing their economic, social and
cultural situation through Canadian organizations.''
Michele Asselin,
president of la Federation des femmes du Quebec _ the largest women's
organization in the province _ said Canadians expect their government do what's
necessary to uphold Charter equality rights, and sometimes that includes funding
outside groups to raise issues.
"It's fundamental to Canadian democracy
because all groups and lobbyists aren't all equal. There has to be financing
that supports independent groups that can question and analyze and give
different perspectives to government,'' said Asselin.
"That's part of a
democratic society to finance groups that defend rights.''

I have been workin in the Canadian Tire Warehouse for almost 2 weeks now.The first few days have been tiring for me, but now I am not as tired and sore cuz I am gettin used to the work more.I am startin to enjoy it now.The boss is a decent guy with an excellent work ethic and good leadership.He should have run for politics and became the minister of Aborigional affairs so he can motivate the indians on the rez off welfare and workin, or he should be minister of human resourses so he can motivate the welfare bums to get workin.It would save us all alot of taxdollars.

Woman asks court for status as boy's third parent

An Ontario woman is asking the courts to officially recognize her as the third legal parent of a five-year-old boy she is raising with her same-sex partner.
The application, if allowed, is believed to mark the first time in Canada that a child would have more than two legal parents.
The biological father and mother and her female partner must remain anonymous because of a court ruling protecting their identities.
"The family has evolved over the years in a way that the law should recognize the reality of this little boy," the father's lawyer, Alfred Mamo, told The Canadian Press
The original application made three years ago, which seeks a declaration of parenthood, would give the mother's same-sex partner the same rights as if she were a biological parent.
That application failed because the family court ruled it did not have the authority to make a judgment on the case.
The applicant appealed, arguing she was in a special situation because same-sex couples require assisted human reproduction.
She contended that if the law does not make room for three legal parents, it is a violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantee of equality.
"It's discriminatory, because one of them gets legally recognized ... the non-biological mother is equally part of the process except for the biological bits,'' said the woman's lawyer, Peter Jervis.
The case has provoked heated response from several religious groups, including the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, the Catholic Civil Rights League, the Christian Legal Fellowship and Focus on the Family.
The Alliance for Marriage and Family has filed a brief on behalf of these groups, stating its belief children can only have two parents under family law in Canada.
Janet Epp Buckingham of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada said that to change the law "You would need to have the full hearings in the provincial parliament and it should be a legislated change.''
Meanwhile, the Institute of Marriage and Family Canada has issued a statement arguing that reproductive technologies are redefining parenthood in ways that may hurt children.
They cited a report that says the growing use of egg and sperm donors, high rates of divorce and single-parent childbearing and support for same-sex marriage are putting the interests of adults before the needs of children.
"Radical changes to our public norm of parenthood in law and public policy are challenging one of the most fundamental tasks of human culture, namely the struggle to forge strong healthy connections between children and their biological parents," says Dan Cere, director of the Institute for the Study of Marriage, Law and Culture, one of the four think tanks sponsoring the report, and McGill University professor of religion, ethics, and public policy.
"Breaking ranks with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Canadian law now elevates the rights of adults to children over the rights of children to their birth parents."

On Saturday night, I took a trip up to one of the local bars.I went to the Buckwild, which is my favourite in town.I don't go to the Alberta cuz it is too grungy and it is where all the local drunks and welfare bums go.I spent most of this morning sleepin off a hangover.The Buckwild is the best one to go to, especially if you're young n' like good music/dancin', and like to play pool, and just hang out.I went there and there also happened to be some bachelorette party goin on.This one girl had to do somethin crazy.She wore a pair of underwear over her jeans with a huge male organ (hoohoodilly, aka dick) stickin out.She danced with it on with everyone on the dance floor-the thing was swingin all over the place.She was also wearin a shirt that said-A BUCK, A SUCK-.I did not dance at all-I hate dancin.i thought that was funny.I went to the buckwild cuz I just got paid and felt like gettin sloshed and playin some pool.I didn't get home till 2:30 am.I'm goin to bed soon.I have to work tomorrow(MONDAY).

As the proud Aunt of a seven month old, lil angel, I have seen first hand how precious life is.My lil neice's name is Dallas and she is the sweetest lil angel ever.She looks really cute in her lil pink cowgirl outfit.She has the looks of her mom (my older sister), and the looks of her dad.
All children are innocent and are gifts from God.My lil neice, Dallas, is livin proof of that.She is crawling and standin by leanin on furniture.She will soon be walkin.She already likes to get into things, so my sister has to keep an eye on her and so do we when we visit.Lil children, especially, babies like to explore the world around them and do so by gettin into things.If she touches somethin she shouldn't and gets hurt, she cries.I do not like to see any baby cry in pain.
I consider a fetus to be just as much as a livin being as a baby outside da womb and did you know that a fetus feels pain the same way a child outside the womb does?Research has proven that fetuses feel pain the same way babies outside of the womb do.There has also been proof that fetuses do cry when they feel pain or discomfort.Aborting a fetus is just as wrong and immoral as killing a baby or any person outside of the womb.ABORTION IS MURDER!
To sum this up, a fetus is just as much as a human being as any person whether it be babies, toddlers, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens.I love my neice and thank God that she is here to make our lives full of joy, happiness and made our family more complete.She is a gift from God to our family and my sister agrees.Dallas has made my sister's life and her fiancee's life more joyful and full of happiness and love.Dallas is a blessing.I just wish the feminists, pro-aborts, and SOWs would get their heads outta their @$$es and wake up and realize this!If they truly love their children/neices/nephews/grandchildren, they would join the fight against the mass genocide (aka abortion) of innocent babies everywhere!

As y'all know, I have been workin in the warehouse at Canadian Tire.There is this one girl I work with, who is 20 years old (same age as me).While packing the Christmas inventory into boxes, we started to talk bout politics.We had some debate on abortion.I told her outright that as a christian socon pro-life conservative, I oppose abortion.She said she opposed abortion but then contradicted herself by saying she supports abortion for those who have been raped .I then told her that if the mother didn't want the kid, there were alternatives rather than abortion, such as givin the kid up for adoption.She then made the weakest argument ever-She said it would be too hard to carry a baby for 9 months then give it up after birth .I then told her that the baby has nothing to do with the mother's rape and shouldn't be murdered for it.I told her it is better to give the kid up and let them live rather than be selfish and murder the child cuz they don't wanna carry it for 9 months in the womb. I am 20 years old just like this co-worker, but unlike her, i am a pro-life social conservative with morals. Her arguments kinda make me wonder if she posts regularily on rabble.

The arguments that pro-aborts make for their cause are usually weak and make no sense.The mass murder of innocent babies has to stop RIGHT NOW!

This has been one crazy week!We have been workin' so many hours and I am so f-ckin' tired!These last few days have been so insane and intense.We originally had till the end of the month to empty that warehouse and inventory everything for the new owners, but Canadian Tire corp. turned round and said it all had to be done by the middle of next week.They change their minds more than the f-ckin' weather-wtf, Eh?I'm suprised that I am still able to stand.I have been so worn out from work that I barely read the f-ckin' numbers on the scanner.I have been constantly consumin' mostly sugar or caffienne these last few days.I already injured my toe.It got ran over by one of the big pallet carts.My toenail got cracked so bad, it cut into the toe and it bled.The only thing that really kept me goin was the promise of a few beers and some vodka after work, cuz I usually am so overtired, that i can't sleep.Thank God for alchahol eh?It makes one god damn excellent sedative.Just need to have some really strong coffee the next mornin' when I'm so frickin dead I can barely stand.Thank God it is almost done.We probably only have 2-3 days left of work, then i will be workin in the store, which will be a complete fuckin cakewalk compared to the shit I'm doin' now.Sorry bout the foul langauge in this post.had a few beers and I have just finished a long day of work.I'm pretty cranky now, so I guess I may as well go after the pro-aborts in my next post for the blogroll while I still have the alchahol induced buzz and energy.

Parents feed pupils through gates
Pupils at a South Yorkshire school are being fed fish and chips through the gates by parents who say the canteen is not providing what their children want.
Students at Rawmarsh Comprehensive are not allowed out of the grounds at lunchtime, so some parents are taking their orders for the chip shop instead. They say pupils are not being given enough time or choice for their meals. But the school said it aimed to provide good quality food that helped pupils to concentrate in the afternoons. Julie Critchlow is one of the parents who delivers pupils' orders from the grounds of a neighbouring cemetery in Rotherham while the school gates are locked. "The children aren't eating what the school provide in the cafeteria because they don't like the quality of the food," she said. "They prefer to come to us to have their food delivered fresh and hot, which is what they're asking for. We're giving them what they're asking for." The move is being seen as a backlash against TV chef Jamie Oliver's campaign for healthy school dinners. But Ms Critchlow insisted it was not just about promoting junk food as they had several orders for jacket potatoes and salad sandwiches alongside those for burgers and fish and chips. She said their actions had been prompted by the school's new half hour meal breaks, as pupils did not have long enough to eat. "They're like caged animals at the moment," she said. "By the time the children have queued to get their lunch they haven't time to eat it." From this term, pupils have been given two half hour breaks instead of the previous 15 and 45 minutes. Head teacher John Lambert said reorganising the school day and keeping pupils on site during breaks had already shown its benefits. "Our motives are about effective education," he said. "Afternoon lateness has dropped to virtually zero and we know they are learning better in the afternoons." He said he understood some pupils would resist the changes but believed that parents taking orders at the gates was undermining the school and their children's education. "We aim to provide good quality food which is within government healthy eating guidelines and helps the children's learning in the afternoon," he said. "The food that these parents are handing out is not part of a healthy eating diet and on top of that I have to question the morality of delivering it from the grounds of a cemetery. "I just don't think it's helping their children and I don't think it's helping their children's school." A meeting is due to be held between parents and staff next week to try to resolve the matter. If it's high school students and they have jobs, why should they be caged on the school grounds and eat the food the school says they should eat when they can go someplace and pay for their own food, out of their own pocket with money THEY earned.The school should not forcibly confine em. When I attended high school, I had a job and since I am pretty picky bout what I eat, I am happy my school gave me the freedom to leave the grounds and buy my lunch.I was given FREEDOM OF CHOICE on what I can BUY with MY OWN MONEY, WHICH I EARNED by WORKING.A school and government telling young adults such as 18 and 19 year olds what they can and can't eat is considered STATISM and falls in the category of SOCIALISM and the NANNY STATE.My parents didn't really care whether I packed a lunch or bought one-it was my money.Part of CONSERVATISM and CAPITALISM is allowing people to CHOOSE when, where, and HOW they can spend THEIR MONEY. I usually bought subs, soups, or sandwiches, and a juice at Subway or the concession/deli/sandwich place at the Husky Mall which is privately owned by an old lady who makes homemade soups, sandwiches, and pastries, as well as salads. there.THE FOOD I BOUGHT WAS WAY MORE HEALTHY THAN WHAT THE SCHOOL WAS SELLIN AT THE CANTEEN.I don't really like pop, chips,candybars, and burgers.They just don't appeal to me that much.Sometimes I ate Chinese food at the smorg.

Sept 7-2006

Tonight we are about to witness the first episode of Survivor-Vegreville-Wainwright.Our two contestants are Len Landry and Incubant MP Leon Benoit.Throughout the show, our contestants will face many challenges and must ouwit and outlast each other.the one with the most votes on the final episode wins.the prize will be the candidacy to run for MP for Vegreville-Wainwright in the next federal election.
Our first challenge is that each candidate must address the CPC membership in Vegreville, where the tribe will then pass their judgement on who is the best after the speeches.

I am writing this to publically apologize to Mr.Landry for my biased posts on FD and this blog that did not provide his view and I am hereby issuing this public apology and am publically retracting my red tory label..I have always supported Leon Benoit for all that he has done to help my family.Leon Benoit has no knowledge of my posts or this blog and therefore bears no responsibility for my failure to provide Landry's views and bears no responsibility on my posts on FD.I have been too hard on Landry in my quest to support Benoit.I have been known for my agressive passion when in heated and stressful situations. and when under duress.The dent in the filter machine at the KFC where I used to work proves such.I have a short fuse and tend to make judgements like a bull in a bullfight-I charge with my eyes closed especially when under a lot of stress.As a supervisor at the KFC where I used to work, I had this persona of barking orders (and swearing like crazy) like an angry drill sergeant when things got overheated and crazy when the other employees didn't do their jobs properly.I even threw a few things across the room.I apologize if any of this offended you.Please don't take it on Leon at the debates-he had nothing to do with any of this.

I thought it would be a good idea to make the Canadian public aware that EGALE and LEAF have been recieving government funding to push their agendas for years.
To prove it, here is a passage from a book I read.

Leo Paré Wednesday August 23, 2006 Lloydminster Meridian Booster — Local MP Leon Benoit is sparing no effort to save his seat, but challenger Len Landry promises to give him a run for his money. Benoit, who has represented the Vegreville-Wainwright riding in Ottawa for the past 13 years, was caught by surprise last week when a former member of his campaign team announced his intention to challenge him for the Conservative nomination. Landry served as Benoit’s office manager and official agent in the last federal election, but says many members of the constituency association wanted a new face for the riding. In a nomination race, each candidate must sell as many party memberships as possible, and encourage those members to come out and support them in a nomination vote. The deadline for the Vegreville-Wainwright candidates to sell memberships was midnight this past Saturday, and Benoit said he was able to garner a great deal of support in a short period of time. “The response has been phenomenal,” Benoit said. “Most people couldn’t understand why I was being challenged. Why would they want to replace me now when I’m all trained and ready to work in government? My experience is much-needed when we form a majority government, which we’re planning on doing in the next election.” Juggling his MP duties and nomination efforts, Benoit plans to put together a brochure which will be distributed to current members. He says he and his support team have been hitting the phones, asking for members’ support at the nomination vote meetings which will be held Sept. 7 in Vegreville and Sept. 8 in Lloydminster. Landry has been on the road attending various meetings throughout the constituency, which spans from Sherwood Park to Lloydminster, making it one of the largest in the country. The challenger says he likes his odds heading into the final weeks of the nomination campaign. “We’re fairly pleased with the support and the number of memberships that have followed,” Landry said. I haven't been blogging here for a long time but fellow bloggers and FD'ers are fighting to get rid of a Trudeau era government funded organization that does nothing for the average Canadian- this organization in question is the federal Status of Women-a radical feminist group.I refuse to support an organization that sucks hard earned dollars out of my pocket for a left pro ssm-pro abortion organization that does not represent my views at all, and that is why I am joining the blog campaign.I oppose same sex marriage and I am pro life-I oppose abortion.

the beheading of Prime Minister Stephen Harper were among a chilling miscellany
of possible attacks that emerged Tuesday when the alleged architects of a
massive terrorist plot made their second appearance in court. Ten men and five
youths faced a packed courtroom as new details came to light about what the
group was allegedly plotting before they were rounded up last Friday in what's
been billed as Canada's largest post-9-11 counter-terrorism operation. The most
hair-raising of the allegations were relayed by Gary Batasar, the lawyer for
25-year-old restaurant worker Steven Chand, who described a written synopsis of
Crown allegations that also included taking politicians hostage and blowing up
the CBC's Toronto headquarters. "The allegations . . . are quite serious,
including storming and bombing of various buildings," Batasar told a crush of
media outside the courthouse. "There's an allegation that my client personally
indicated that he wanted to behead the prime minister of Canada." The synopsis
prepared by the Crown was not read in open court or distributed to the media,
making it difficult to assess how sophisticated or advanced the alleged plot and
its various elements were beyond what Batasar made public. It included
allegations that the group wanted to "storm the Parliament Buildings" and that
Chand "would personally like to behead Stephen Harper," he added. Chand, bearded
with shoulder-length hair, blew a kiss to supporters in the courtroom as he was
led away in shackles and handcuffs. The group of 17 - two are already serving
prison terms for gun offences and didn't appear in court - also allegedly
planned to behead their hostages if demands such as the withdrawal of troops
from Afghanistan and the release of Muslim prisoners weren't met. In Ottawa,
Harper appeared to take the news in stride. "I can live with these threats as
long as they're not from my caucus," he joked. Batasar took pains to assail the
Canadian authorities, as well as the U.S. government and President George W.
Bush, for trying to foment fear among the public. "It appears to me that whether
you're in Ottawa or Toronto or Crawford, Texas, or Washington, D.C., what is
wanting to be instilled in the public is fear," he said. "That's precisely why
everyone is here today, and that's unfortunate." Lawyer Donald McLeod, who
represents 23-year-old Jahmaal James, complained of restricted access to his
client, including only being allowed to speak to the accused through Plexiglas
and not being allowed to have private discussions. "Whether or not it hampers
their right, it's something that we, as counsel, would like to have," McLeod
said. Lawyer Arif Raza, who represents 19-year-old Saad Khalid of Mississauga,
Ont., said court was the only place he was able to talk to his client, who
wasn't allowed to carry his business card. Denying a prisoner a private meeting
with a lawyer is a violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Raza said,
adding that he'll mount a charter challenge if he doesn't get to speak with his
client alone. "I think unequal treatment, just because of these allegations, is
improper." Federal prosecutor Jim Leising told the court he doesn't have the
authority to dictate how the 15 are treated at the Maplehurst correctional
facility in Milton, Ont., where they're being held. "I have nothing to do with
the rules an institution imposes," he said. Raza said there was a dearth of
details in court documents about the accusations against his client, except for
allegations that Khalid attended a terror training camp north of Toronto and
"was apprehended at the time of the fake delivery of the so-called ammonium
nitrate." McLeod also complained that the accused were being refused their
religious rights; a court order prohibits the 15 from communicating with each
other. "They're Muslim," McLeod said. "Clearly they'd like to be able to pray as
a group. I'd like to facilitate that religious freedom they're entitled to." He
also complained the men in custody were not being given an opportunity to speak
with their families, who packed the courtroom. Family members who arrived to
support the accused in court were met by a horde of media from across Canada and
the U.S., including CNN, the Los Angeles Times and most major television
networks. Raza said family members of the accused have been shaken up by the
whole ordeal, noting that their homes had been raided and "messed up" in the
wake of the arrests. They just want their loved ones to be "justly treated," he
said. The accused appeared before the court in separate groups. Of the 15 who
appeared Tuesday, 14 will return to court Monday. Chand, James, Khalid, Asad
Ansari, 21, Fahim Ahmad, 21, Zakaria Amara, 20, Qayyum Abdul Jamal, 43, Amin
Mohamed Durrani, 19, Ahmad Mustafa Ghany, 21, and the five youths, none of whom
can be identified, are all scheduled to return to court June 12. Shareef
Abdelhaleen, 30, will return on July 4 for a bail hearing. Ghany and Khalid also
set bail hearings for later in the month, while one of the youths will have a
bail hearing on June 16.

They should all be tried for treason.This is why we need our own GITMO as described in my previous blog.As far as any rights go, they gave those up the moment they thought about carrying out these attacks.They are enemies and traitors to the people of Canada.

17 individuals for terrorism related offences.

As far as I'm concerned, these home grown terrorists should be tried for treason.They are traitors to the people of Canada and should be punished severely for that.
Canada needs to have it's own "GITMO" detention facility for terrorist detainees.Maybe we should build our own Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay) on Resolute Island or on one of the uninhabited Islands along the Douglas channal and Queen Charlotte Islands in Northern BC.We can ship all the terrorists there and let our military,CSIS, and other security officials interrogate them and extract info from them in any way they fit.It would be out of sight from the liberal criminal coddling public, so it would be easier for security officials to make up false info on how the detainees are handled.The Navy could patrol the island to ensure nobody gets out and no nosy reporters get in without proper authorization.If they are found to be terrorists by a secret military tribunal on the base, they can be taken out to a concrete wall and executed by a CF firing squad on the island.

Harper to allow foreign adoptees to be Canadian Citizens

Today Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced new legislation he intends to pass that will allow Canadians to adopt foreign children alot quicker and make them Canadians alot quicker as well.He intends to streamline and expedite the whole adoption process by cutting away at the beaurocratic red tape.This is a great way help ensure Canada has a future in it's labour market because these new Canadians will replace aging workers when they retire.Once again, Harper is thinking what is best for Canada in the long run.Keep up the good work Prime Minister Harper!!

What I think of the federal budget

The federal budget has been presented a week ago but I have not been able to comment on it lately because our internet modem was fried and we had to wait for a new one from Telus.

Now back to the budget.

I personally feel that the federal budget was meant to be a budget of tax relief.The Harper government has increased funding for the military and farmers, but also gave tax releif for every hardworking Canadian.I have a three year old brother who attends preschool, but it is not funded by the feds and never was, even after the fiberals promised universal child care.He only goes to preschool twice a week, and we send him to a friend's to be babysat for the other three week days.The problem is that she can only babysit in the morning cuz she works in the afternoon.I have math class in the morning, but also had Biology 30 in the afternoon.I had to drop biology 30 because we did not have a babysitter for the afternoon.Boy, that Liberal child care plan sure helped me there, eh?NOT!!It was just another broken promise by the Liberals.Because of this Liberal universal childcare bag of dog crap, I had to drop out of a class so I can provide ''universal childcare" for my brother while my mother went to work to help pay the bills while my dad was on the rigs working as well to pay for childcare for the rich families in Ontario so the Librano$ could try and buy votes like they usually did.At least with Harper's plan, I can be compensated for what I had to sacrafice.Harper will continue to recieve my vote.

Vegreville KFC shutting down

As you know from my profile, I am a supervisor at KFC in Veg.Today we got notice that May 14, 2006 will be the last day it will be open for business.We were told it was because renovations to the building would cost more than the place is worth so the big bosses are just gonna shut'er down for good.The manager is being shipped off to Bonnyville under the new title, General Manager.Everyone will all have to go to A&W for chicken.

I just bought a paintball gun at Canadian Tire today.The total cost for the paintball gun, paintballs, and CO2 canister was $155.00.I wonder if I should register it with the Canadian Firearms registry.It does have the word "gun" in it.I'll bet some of the liberal neighbours (though very few in rural AB) will be crying bloody murder because one of their Conservative neighbours have a paintball gun.The worst paintballs do is cause bruising and sting upon impact.I know, I'll ask my MP (Conservative MP Leon Benoit) if he will dare me to do so.He opposes the registry and will probably say go 4 it.It will be funny to see if the registration for my paintball gun will go through.I personally think the gun registry is a piece of crap that needs to be scrapped.It is a waste of money and only goes after law abiding citizens.WTF happened to property rights?Oops, I just accidentally gave those left wing moonbat liberals another idea.They would now probably dream up a paintball gun registry to go with their stupid washed out Trudea-dopian dream land laws they dumped onto Canada.I hope the tories get rid of that pro Stalinist-Trudeau gun registry law.

Harper says constitutional reform coming, but not on the scale of Mulroney’s

MONTREAL (CP) - Constitutional questions kept in deep storage since the early 1990s are about to get a fresh airing, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Thursday.

While he promised to stop short of the ambitious, tumultuous Meech Lake project of former prime minister Brian Mulroney, Harper said the do-nothing constitutional era of the former Liberal government is about to end. "We will go step by step," Harper told reporters after speaking to nearly 2,000 business leaders in Montreal.
"Mr. Mulroney tried to change everything and it was ultimately not successful. Mr. (Jean) Chretien and the previous Liberal government decided it would change nothing and reform nothing. We happen to believe the federation has to evolve."
Harper said he will move to put a formal limit on the power of the federal government to spend money in provincial areas of jurisdiction, although he avoided saying if a constitutional amendment would be required.
"We have the intention of limiting our power, if such a power exists," Harper said. "My preference is to have a formal limitation on this power.
"We're not talking today, we're not talking yet, about constitutional amendments, but my position is known."
Harper's plan to stay out of areas of provincial responsibility is part of a package of policies that have special appeal in Quebec, the province that may hold the key to a future Conservative majority government.
In his speech to the Montreal Board of Trade, Harper promised a new era of openness that will include a Quebec that is "autonomous."
Harper later said every province should be autonomous in a federation like Canada.
Harper also promised to start addressing the so-called fiscal imbalance within the year. The provinces have long argued that Ottawa is collecting billions in tax dollars that should go to the provincial capitals instead, although each province has its own idea of how this imbalance should be corrected.
"We will present specific proposals on the fiscal imbalance . and let me tell you what they won't include: a hike in federal spending in areas of exclusive provincial jurisdiction," he said.
Harper's words had politicians from two Quebec provincial parties applauding at the head table of the big-business luncheon.
Liberal Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Benoit Pelletier called Harper's plans "a very good start."
"It's just the beginning," Pelletier said. "These elements are proving that we are going toward something that is new, and we have the historic responsibility to take this opportunity in order to make sure we advance the case of Quebec while strengthening the federation."
Action democratique du Quebec Leader Mario Dumont said major changes are coming to the way Canada deals with Quebec.
"There is a healthy spirit of co-operation that is very different from what we've seen for years," Dumont said.
"We must take full profit from Mr. Harper's force of character, his desire to do things differently, the door he has opened wide to Quebec."

PM Harper is a true leader and is starting to seem like the best Prime Minister Canada has ever had.This does not include Sir John A. though.He sticks to what he says and is strengthening confederation by every action.Actions speak louder and mean more than words.That is what makes Harper rise above past PM's now and in the future history books.If he gets a majority next parliament, Canada is headed for a bright happy prosperous future.

Dirtbiking season!!

It has finally arrived.The ground is dry and dirtbiking/motorcycle season has started.I can't wait to go dirtbiking after work in the fields on my Yamaha XT 200 (1982).Tomorrow I am supposed to get my paycheque because Friday is a statuatory holiday(Good Friday), but I still have to work even though I am a christian.I just won't eat any chicken.At least I will be getting paid time and a half (stat pay).

I heared the Tories put the Tamil Tigers on the terror list.We now have a gov't that doesn't dither and gets the job done.Keep up the Good work Prime Minister Harper!!

Belinda Stronach has officially bowed out of the Liberal leadership race today and I don't think Scott Brison has a chance of winning anyway because that income trust leak thing has tarnished his reputation-not that I really care anyway.I dislike the Liberal party and hope they get a real loser to lead the red monster to complete self-decimation through years I hope they spend and wither away in the wilderness of opposition like the rotting garbage they are.I would like to see Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservatives win a large majority in the next election should it happen sooner or later.It is hard to tell with a minority government.Harper is already showing himself to be a true leader-something that Canada has desparately needed for the past 12 years but never had-until now.Nobody really wants to be the captain of a sinking ship-nobody wants to be Liberal leader, because the Liberal party is a sinking ship.

I watched question Period on cpac today and found it to be quite refreshing.Harper was not rattled by the opposition's petty remarks.He actually had fun burning them back big time and cracked a few jokes in his responses.Graham and Layton were pathetic compared to our Prime Minister- performance wise.Dithers was rattled and stressed at every QP session in the last parliament, but Harper was the exact opposite.He livened things up to make things more fun.I am proud to call myself a Conservative Canadian.

Municipal Teen Curfew?-This is my view!

Sherwood Park has passed a teen curfew.I don't have to worry about it because I am 20, but as a Conservative, I believe in liberty and individual responsibility.Why should the government scapegoat teens and strip them of their charter rights and freedoms.

These are the Charter Rights and Freedoms tha Sherwood Park Teens have lost-
-Freedom from discrimination based on AGE.
-The right to mobility without fear of prosecution.

As far as taking rights away from certain groups goes, only the federal Parliament of Canada can do this and this is only done during times of war or crisis.This must be done with with more than two thirds of Parliament.We are NOT AT WAR with our teens and they are NOT A TERRORIST THREAT.On a legal perspective, a youth's lawyer can argue that Sherwood Park should be declared ULTRA VIRES by the court, which means going way out of their legal jurisdiction in legal terms.

When rights and freedoms are stripped away from citizens, that is the brinkmanship to losing ALL rights and Freedoms.Curfews are not the way to go.If Sherwood Park thinks curfews will stop crime, then they might as well impose curfews on visible ethnic minorities if they score higher in statistics for crime. In my perspective, nobody should have their rights taken away.If a person were to look at history, they would notice that Stalin blamed certain groups for crime, and started by imposing restrictions on them, such as CURFEWS, then he sent them to labour camps in Siberia.We should stop taking away people's rights, and start giving them more rights, such as the right to defend themselves and others without fear of prosecution.This curfew is only a Liberal Trudopes idea of a solution-letting the nanny state dictate the lives of it's citizens more and more.

We need deterrents such as mandatory minimum sentencing and the concept of individual responsibility.Individual responsibility is a Conservative way-Collective responsibility is as close to communism as you can get.Say no to Communism-say no to curfews that discriminate certain groups.A true Conservative would oppose discrimatory curfews that infringe on people's INDIVIDUAL rights.

Three days of Insanity

Thursday, Friday, and Today have been insane.Thursday was busy as hell at the last minute at work.I fell behind in my clean up as well.The cook was behind as well.We were supposed to be done at 20:30 but weren't done until 21:30.I had to close the store, set, the alarm, close the safe, and lock the doors.I had Friday, which also happened to be payday off.I came in to pick up my paycheque on Friday afternoon.My boss happened to be in a VERY bad moodShe completely chewed my head off over the smallest and most petty things.I later learned from the other employees, that she chewed their heads off as well.I also heared that she gotted pissed off with me for making too many potato salads.I left the store very quickly after she gave me my cheque before she could find other things to bark at me about.That is when people have to grab something to cover their heads and hit the deck for cover.Today(Sat) was very easy-going at work, but it was a beautiful day outside and I was stuck inside the stuffy old KFC.I was cashier for the day so everything was very easy.I would have preferred to have been suntanning and taking a nap outside at home, then having a bonfire party at night with lots of booze.I have been working 9-eight hour days straight before having Friday off.I checked the schedule today and found I only have Monday off, then I will have work for another crapload of days straight non-stop.It means alot of money, but I am a human, not a KFC android from the chicken planet.I burned my boss big time this morning though.She talked about how she went to West Edmonton Mall with her grandson and how expensive it was for her.I told her to get the senior's discount and it would be cheaper.She replied saying she wasn't that old.I then told her she could probably get away with it because she LOOKED old enough to pass as a senior.Today got to be really nice when I got home and read the internet news.It showed that Harper was making Canada's concerns known and was really STANDING UP FOR CANADA.I am a proud supporter Of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.He is the best thing that happened to Canada.PMSH got plenty of news coverage and respect on the American networks.That is something no Canadian Prime Minister has really accomplished.I am proud to call my self a Canadian.

Western Standard being sued by Muslim Extremist

Â Â Our magazine has
been sued for publishing the Danish cartoons, and I need
your help to
fight
back!
Â Â As you know, the Western Standard was the only
mainstream media organ in
Canada to publish the Danish cartoons depicting
the
Muslim prophet Mohammed.
Â Â We did so for a simple
reason: the
cartoons were the central fact in one of
the largest news
stories of the
year, and we're a news magazine. We publish the
facts and
we let our readers
make up their minds.
Â Â Advertisers stood
with us. Readers loved
the fact that we treated them like
grown-ups. And
we earned the respect of
many other journalists in Canada who
envied our
independence. In fact,
according to a COMPAS poll last month, fully
70%
of Canada's working
journalists supported our decision to publish
the
cartoons.
Â Â
But not Syed Soharwardy, a radical
Calgary Muslim imam.
Â Â He
asked the police to arrest me for
publishing the cartoons. They
calmly
explained to him that's not what
police in Canada
do.
Â Â So then he went to a far less liberal
institution than the
police: the
Alberta Human Rights Commission. Unlike
the Calgary Police
Service, they didn't
have the common sense to show him
the
door.
Â Â Earlier this month, I received a copy of
Soharwardy's
rambling, hand-scrawled
complaint. It is truly an
embarrassing document. He
briefly complains that we
published the Danish
cartoons. But the bulk of his
complaint is that we dared to
try to
justify it - that we dared to disagree
with him.
Â Â Think
about that: In Soharwardy's view, not only
should the Canadian media
be
banned from publishing the cartoons, but we
should be banned from
defending our
right to publish them. Perhaps the
Charter of Rights that
guarantees our freedom
of the press should be banned,
too.
Â Â Soharwardy's complaint goes further than just the
cartoons. It refers to news
articles we published about Hamas, a group
labelled a terrorist organization by
the Canadian government. By
including
those other articles, he shows his real
agenda: censoring any
criticism of
Muslim extremists.
Â Â Perhaps the most
embarrassing thing about
Soharwardy's complaint is that he
claims our
cartoons caused him to receive
hate mail. Indeed, his complaint
includes
copies of a few e-mails from
strangers to him. Some of those e-mails
even
go so far as to call him
"humourless" and tell him to "lighten up".
Perhaps
that's hateful. But all of
those e-mails were sent to him before
our magazine
even published the
cartoons. Soharwardy isn't even
pretending that this is a
legitimate
complaint. He's not even trying to
hide that this is a nuisance
suit.
Â Â Soharwardy's complaint
should have been thrown out
immediately by the Alberta
Human Rights
Commission, just like the police did.
But it wasn't. Which is why
I'm
writing to you today.
Â Â
According to our lawyers, we will
win this case. It's an infantile
complaint,
without basis in facts or
law. Frankly, it's an embarrassment to
the government
of Alberta that
their tribunal is open to abuse like
this.
Â Â Our lawyers
tell us we're going to win. But not before
we have to spend
hundreds of
hours and up to $75,000 fighting this thing, at
our own
expense.
Soharwardy doesn't have to spend a dime - now that his
complaint
has been filed,
Alberta tax dollars will pay for the prosecution of
his
complaint. We have to
pay for this on our own.
Â Â Look,
$75,000 isn't going to bankrupt us. But it will sting. We're a
small,
independent magazine, not a huge company with deep pockets. All of
our
money is
needed to produce the best possible editorial product, not
to fight
legal
battles. This is clearly an abuse of process designed to
punish us and
deter
other media from daring to cross that angry imam in
the
future.
Â Â One of the leaders in Canadian human rights
law, Alan
Borovoy, was so
disturbed by Soharwardy's abuse of the human
rights
commission that he wrote a
public letter about it in the Calgary
Herald on
March 16th. "During the years
when my colleagues and I were
labouring to
create such commissions, we never
imagined that they might
ultimately be used
against freedom of speech," wrote
Borovoy, who is
general counsel for the
Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
Censorship
was "hardly the role we had
envisioned for human rights
commissions.
There should be no question of the
right to publish the
impugned cartoons," he
wrote.
Â Â Borovoy
went even further
- he said that the human rights laws should be
changed to
avoid this sort
of abuse in the future. "It would be best, therefore,
to
change the
provisions of the Human Rights Act to remove any such
ambiguities
of
interpretation," he wrote. That's an amazing statement, coming
from one
of
the fathers of the Canadian human rights
movement.
Â Â I
agree with Borovoy: the law should be changed to
stop future abuses.
But
those changes will come too late for us - we're
already under attack.
The human
rights laws, designed as a shield, are being
used against us as
a sword.
Â Â We will file our legal response to
Soharwardy's
shakedown this week. And we
will fight this battle to the end -
not just
for our own sake, but to defend
freedom of the press for all
Canadians.

Chicken Frenzy

Today could be described in one word-CHAOS.
I was at work like I usually am.We had someone call and order 90 dollars worth of food, but it turned out to be a prankster giving a fake address and now I have to pay the cab fare, and the store had to refund the cab driver for the food.All of that chicken went to waste.As a supervisor, I am also responsible for what the other employees are doing.The cook did his job, but the cashier drove me nuts.I was to the point where I had to leave the area to calm down so I wouldn't throw something at the cashier.He didn't mop his floors or do his fill-ups.We were busy today, but that was NO excuse to not get his job done right.A bunch of customers came in at the last minute and I was way behind in my clean up in the pack area but I still did the clean up.I used to be a cashier and a cook before I became a supervisor and I always managed to get my clean up done in time no matter how busy it got at the last minute.I still had to do a bunch of paper work and counting the chicken.I thought I wasn't going to be finished until after 9;30 because of all of the chaos but managed to be done at 9;00.I then closed the store and went home.I usually have a passion to discuss politics and my conservative views, but I will leave that for another day because I am tired from work and I have to work tomorrow and the next day as well.I have to supervise that same cashier mentioned above for these two days.I intend to give him a good tuning tomorrow and if that doesn't work, I will write him up.He is a friend of my mom's, but I should not let him get off scott free because of that.As a supervisor, it is MY JOB to ensure that those working under my watch do their jobs, no matter who they are.I am a hard working Conservative who can't stand LAZY people.They are drain on my time, energy, and patience.
